Fridays on the Front Porch
Starting April 25, 2008
Our popular "Fridays on the Front Porch" will help you unwind and ease into the weekend with live bluegrass music, cool drinks, good food and plenty of shade.
Every Friday from 5-7 p.m., starting Friday, April 25, 2008 the Crossroads Bar serves its complete bar menu - along with beer and wine at special prices - on the porch overlooking the Inn's tree-shaded north lawn.

For the third year, the Triangle is home to the "Diamonds are a Diner's Best Friend" dinner series. On five separate evenings, from June to October, Executive Chefs from five of the area's AAA Four Diamond award-winning restaurants will gather in one another’s kitchens to prepare a culinary masterpiece. But first, days before the dinners, you can catch them selecting their ingredients at their local farmer’s market.

The Carolina Inn has partnered with Replacements, Ltd., the world's largest supplier of heirloom china, crystal and silver, to give its afternoon teas a unique charm. Vintage cups and saucers are used to serve teas from Taylors of Harrogate, winner of England's "Best Cup of Tea" award.
